CHAPTER - 6

 

Karan and Abhimanyu were sitting in the hall. It was dead silence there. Abhimanyu had rested his head on the sofa.

"Bolega bhi kuch Abhi... mujhe tension ho rhi hai... suddenly aise tu yha....?"

"Kyu ? Nhi aa skta...? "

"Aree mtlb aa skta hai but pehle kabhi aaya nhi hai naa aur agr aaj aaya hai so there must be some reason. Bta ab kya hua.. pareshan dikh rha hai.."

Abhimanyu was confused whether to share it with Karan or not. He would definitely judge him and he cannot lose his only best friend.

"Abhi tu janta hai naa koi bhi baat hogi mai bina tera POV samjhe tujhe judge nhi krunga.... aur agr tu galat hoga to Bro I'll suggest you the correct way.."

Abhimanyu chuckles, " bhut ache se janta hai naa mujhe tu... honestly Karan ye baat bhut complicated hai... kuch aisi baatein hai jo haa mai maanta hu mne tujhse chupai hai but I have a reason for that aur abhi tujhe btane me hesitate kr rha hu kyuki agr tujhe bta diya to sb kharab ho jayega... as you said you'll suggest me the correct way but ye baat correct to hai hi nhi... yha sb wrong way hai bro.. "

"Mujhe kuch samajh nhi aaya tune abhi abhi kya kaha but agr tu mujhe kuch btane me hesitate kr rha hai so bdi hi baat hogi koi.. I'll not pressurize you to say it now... but abhi ke liye ek hi advice dunga... chl ke kuch kha le sale bhuke pet to aisi sb baatein soch rha hai.. khud bhi bukha marega aur mereko bhi leke dubega.."

"Don't worry.. mujhe swimming aati hai..."

Karan laughs at it." Chl aaja khana kha le.."

Abhimanyu nodded and thought," Sorry bro tujhse chupane ke liye... ek baar sahi hone de sb phir sbse pehle tujhe hi btaunga..."

While having dinner, Karan asked him," Vese... tu kaha gya tha office se ? kyuki ghar to tu gya nhi.."

Abhimanyu stopped in mid and started thinking about his and Sakshi's conversation. 

Karan was seeing that Abhimanyu was kind of lost somewhere. He understood that something has happened.

"Abhi... " he calls him and Abhimanyu snapped out of his thoughts..  "kaha kho gya ?? btana kaha tha ?"

"Vo.. Sakshi ki scooty ka tyre puncture ho gya tha to bss drop krne gya tha usko..."

"Ohkk... to baat ki tune ?"

" try kiya but... I guess this won't be easy.. apne dard me gum maine usko bhi dard diya hai bhut bda... itna aasan ho bhi nhi skta hai ye sb... aaj uski aankho me dekha... kuch...kuch alag tha unme jese ki vo mujhse hazar shikaytein kr rhi ho... puch rhi ho ki kyu pr mai kya jawab du... kyuki mai khudgarz tha ? usse baat krke sb kuch yaad aa gya... yaad to tb bhi tha lekin tb me aur ab na jane ek difference aa gya hai... pichli baar sirf guilt feel hota tha aur ab dard ho rha hai dil me ek ajeeb sa... jese ye uske saath nhi mere saath hua ho..."

Karan was surprised to listen to him.

"You know what.. I should save this date. THE ABHIMANYU RAWAT jo ya to gusse or bossy mood me rhta hai ya funny mood me lekin kisi mood me itnaaa nhi bolta ek saans me.... lekin aaj serious mood me vo bhi ek ladki ke liye tune pura paragraph suna diya...!!"

"Tujhe joke lg rha hai ye sb..? yha mujhe kuch samajh nhi aa rha... for the first time I am confused ki mera next step kya hona chahiye and you.... unbelievable..."

"Aree acha sorry... dekh to be honest mai abhi kisi conclusion pe nhi aana chahta kyuki ho skta hai ki itne salo ka guilt tujhe pe bojh bnne lga ho ab... ya phir....."

"Ya phir .. ??"

"Ya phir tujhe uska dard mehsoos hone lga ho.. uska dard tera dard bnne lga ho... kya pta tu uska hamdard bnne lga ho... tu samajhta hai ki pyaar me mili chot kesi hoti hai.. tune apni aankho ke saamne dekha hai.. to tu uske dard ko bhi samajhta hai.."

"pyaar..? ye bich me kaha se aa gya ? vo mujhe tb psnd krti thi... college crush bro.. aur maine jo kiya uske baad pakka vo bhi khtm ho gya hai.. ab to vo meri shakal tk nhi dekhna chahti..."

"Bhai mere bhaii vo kya hai na tu abhi tk pyaar ko samjha nhi hai although tune dekha hai but feel nhi kiya hai which is necessary to answer this question."

"Agr aisa hai to mujhe jawab chahiye hi nhi... and that's the end of the discussion"

and with this he went inside to freshen up.

"tu maane ya na maane tu uska hamdard bnne lga hai Abhi.. ye baat guilt se aage bd gyi hai..."

Next morning

Sakshi reached her cabin trying her best to avoid Abhimanyu. But she can only avoid Abhimanyu for the rest of the world but about the the thoughts of Abhimanyu which she was not able to ignore and this was making her frustrated. She, after sometime, went to the coffee machine where a peon was standing with a tensed face. She looked at him and then asked him,

"Bhaiya kya hua aap tensed lg rhe ho.... sb theek hai naa..?"

"Nhi madam ji kuch nhii hua hai aap tension na lo.."

"Aap mujhse keh skte haii agr koi pareshani hai to mai aapki madad krne ki puri koshish krungi... bharosa kijiye mera..."

Peon started crying.

"Aree bhaiya... aap ro kyu rhe haii..?? kya hua hai btaiye mujhe.."

"Madam ji vo mere bete ka accident hua ha aur abhi meri vha bhut zarurat hai lekin sahab ji se chutti kese mangu... abhi to beti ki shadi ke liye li thi itni chuttiyan..."

"Aap jayiye aapka message mai pohocha dungi un tk.."

"Nhi nhi madam meri to naukri jayegi hi aapko bhi daant pdegi aur abhi mujhe ye coffee deke aani hai sirji ko.."

"Is wakt aapke bete aur aapki biwi ko aapki sbse zyada zarurat hai... aap fiikr mt kijiye.. mai yha sb sambhal lungi mera bharosa kijiye na to aapki naukri jayegi na mujhe daant pdegi aur... aur ye coffee.... laaiye mujeh dijiye mai dekr aati hu aap abhi nikaliye hospital ke liye aur aa kr mujhe btaiyega zarur aapke bete ki tabyat kesi hai..."

"Beti bhut bhut shukriya aapka.... bhagwan aapka khub khub bhala kree.... aapko jo chahiye vo aapko aapni zindagi me mile..." and with a smile he went.

"Keh to diya mai baat kr lungi but baat krungi kya aur kese..."

She went taking his coffee towards his cabin.

Abhimanyu was working in a file. He heard a knock," Come in"

Without raising his head from the file he said," Coffee table pe rkh kr Kiya se MM fashion house ki file leke aana.."

Sakshi was confused. She kept the coffee on the table. Abhimanyu forwarded his hand to hold the cup when accidently his hand touched hers. Then he realized that it was not the peon standing in front of him. He looked up only to be shocked. He found Sakshi looking at him. They were kind of lost in each other eyes. Sakshi broke their eye lock and looked down.

"Tum..ahm.. tum yha kya kr rhi ho... coffee tum kyu lekr aayi... Are you a peon here ?"

His words angered her. She snapped her head towards him in anger and said," Mai yha koi peon nhi hu... it's just ki mai jb coffee lene gyi thi to jo peon tumhe coffee dete hai vo vha bhut tensed khade the... unke bete ka serious accident hua hai... he was needed there to maine hi unse kaha ki vo jaye apne bete ke paas mai tumhe inform kr dungi.."

Although what she did was out of humanity. If Abhimanyu would have been at her place, he would have don the same but this is the reality that Abhimanyu was not there and in his absence without taking permission she had " allowed" a peon to go on a holiday.

"Well mujhe nhi pta tha ki tum is company ki CEO ho.."

"What... kya bol rhe ho tum please be clear... CEO mai nhi tum ho..."

"Ohh to tumhe yaad hai ki CEO tum nhi mai hu..." his tone turned angrier. "Tum salary deti ho kya sbko jo meri permission ke bina tumne usko jane diya.."He shouted and stood up from his seat.

Sakshi was shocked as she had never faced this angry hulk Abhimanyu.
